Today, Saturday, President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi held a meeting with his advisors, his deputy, the head of government, and members of the Presidency of the House of Representatives.
Hadi said that the Riyadh agreement had faltered in implementation for a long time as a result of the continued escalation and the declaration of self-management by the so-called “transitional council.”
The leaks had talked about a similar meeting held yesterday evening and failed, then a third meeting with the Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Muhammad Al Jaber, followed, in an attempt to accept the legitimate government, a new formula for the “Riyadh agreement” that begins with the implementation of the pre-military political split?
President Hadi pointed out in a direct speech broadcast by the official media, to the rebellion against the state and the attacks on the citizens of the capital Aden and Socotra, and that this is an unacceptable behavior.
This is the first time that President Hadi has appeared in a video recording since the coup in the temporary capital of Aden last August.
In his speech, he added that resorting to arms and strength to achieve personal gains, or passing sectarian, regional, or partisan projects would not be acceptable, and the Yemeni people would stand firmly against it.
President Hadi called the transitional to stop the bloodshed, to stop the escalation and attacks, and to return to implement the Riyadh agreement. He also saluted the national army stationed on the fronts, the popular resistance, as well as the white army of doctors who face the Corona virus in a number of governorates and hospitals in the Republic.
