Eight soldiers of the National Army were killed and four others, including an officer, were wounded by an explosive device, which was on a military patrol, in western Ma’rib Governorate.
A military source said that the injured people were taken to Ma’rib Hospital, some of them badly. He pointed out that the accident occurred in the Ksara area.
It is noteworthy that the mines and explosive devices left by the Houthi militia earlier in the Ma’rib and eastern Sana’a fronts caused dozens of soldiers and civilians, including IDPs, to fall.
In a separate context, the authorities in Marib called on the citizens and the displaced to move away from the valleys and torrential streams, in conjunction with the approach of the air depression in the eastern governorates.
In his communication, the Civil Defense stressed the necessity of taking precaution and caution and abiding by safety instructions to face the tropical situation and the associated heavy rains and torrential rain.
She noted that the depression will be accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms.
